In order for us to activate the static IP for your account we are required by ARIN (the organization responsible for the IP assignment in the World) to provide a justification for the IP usage.
The following requirements need to be meet in order for us to be able to activate a static IP:
Reseller accounts - static IP can be assigned either for SSL certificates or for private DNS servers. We need the domain name for which the SSL will be enabled or the 2 DNS servers which you will use if you want to use private DNS servers.
VPS/Dedicated cloud/servers - static IP can be assigned either for SSL certificates or for private DNS servers. We need the domain name for which the SSL will be enabled or the 2 DNS servers which you will use if you want to use private DNS servers.
Shared hosting accounts - Since all of our shared servers support SNI web technology, Static IP is not required for SSL certificate deployments any longer. Our MochaHost SSLs don't require static IP, and we can deploy 3rd party SSL certificates without the need for static IP.
Once we receive the requested IP justification we will process your IP activation.
